Why We Blog...

This blog is born because we, who have been with Christ, cannot contain our joy and excitement as we know Him more and hear His voice. We must share with each other what He is saying and doing! So this blog is created to connect the Body of Christ and to bring glory to His name. This is a place to share scripture, words of encouragement to the Body, stories of God's work in your life, hymns and spiritual songs, as well as, testimonies of what God is teaching you through time with Him and prayer requests. Please share only what will encourage, unify, and spur us on to fullness in Christ. Be mindful that almost anyone may read this. We pray this will be a tool that brings God glory, unifies His children, and is a light in the darkness. If you'd like to be an auther, email Michelle. Otherwise, follow and be sure to comment!

Step Study

Hi Ladies,

Tammy and I are starting a new step study on Fridays beginning this week.  Please keep our group in prayer.  This is the third step study that I will be a part of, and the second one for me to co-lead.  Each time, the experience is different in my life and in the lives of the ladies in the group.  Each group is unique and each time I go through the steps I encounter new things about myself and who I am in Christ.

I am especially looking forward  to this group as God has revealed some new issues in my life in the last few months since attending the Celebrate Recovery Summit in August.  These are foundational issues that I believe I have struggled with for years, and I am finally able to recognize and begin to deal with.  The issues were so deep in my own heart and life, that I decided to start an open share group (issue-specific) on Friday nights dealing with this core struggle ~ love & relationship addiction.  It has been one of the most vulnerable, challenging and yet freeing groups I have ever had the privilege to be a part of.  I am so thankful for every woman God has brought to that group to be encouraged that they are not alone, as this issue, like many others, can be very isolating.

Thank you in advance for your prayers for the step group!  I would also like to take every opportunity to pray for each of you...as we face outward, looking for ways to minister to our hurting world and share Christ's love and hope, let's remain in unity, sisters!

I treasure each one of you and my friendships with you.  Can't wait to see what God has to reveal to us next!

Blessings,
Andrea
